Article Title:Majlis to Consider a Bill for Building 3 Refinerie Date:1386/05/10 Body: TEHRAN – Rapporteur of Majlis Energy Commission announced that the minister of petroleum has offered a bill to the Majlis for building three refineries ahead of presenting the next year’s budget bill.
Seyed Emad Hosseini told Petroenergy Information Network that the minister had noted that the bill will be presented before the budget bill for the next year.
“In a joint meeting between Majlis and the government, the president asked the MPs to approve the bill,” he said.
The Economy Council had asked Minister of Petroleum Seyed Kazem Vaziri Hamaneh on June 30 about investment by National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company through its domestic resources.
The investment is to be made in repair and maintenance operations for domestic refineries in Abadan, Tehran, Lavan, Tabriz, Bandar Abbas, Arak, Kermanshah, Shiraz, Isfahan and other parts of Iran.
Also, some investment has been made in purchasing needed buildings for National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company provided that the existing three buildings are sold
